The main aim of the conference is to improve upon the existing knowledge in the area of road safety and contribute to reducing the number of crash fatalities and injuries occurring worldwide, through the dissemination of innovative research and applications.
The 9th RSS International Conference was October 28-31, 2024 in Lexington, Kentucky, hosted by the Kentucky Transportation Center.
The theme of the conference was: “Improving Decisions Through Safety and Simulation Tools”. Putting these tools into practice lets agencies automate complicated processes, provide consistent decision support, rely on science-based and data-driven analysis, and give their safety practitioners the ability to perform complex analyses quickly.
The 9th 2024 Road Safety and Simulation Conference (RSS2024) is proudly hosted by the Kentucky Transportation Center located at the University of Kentucky.
